HE Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah expressed his thanks to the BA for celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Al-Arabi Magazine by issuing “ Al-Arabi.. Diwan of Arab Culture Catalogue” and hosting the roundtable discussion on the future of Al-Arabi, along with other cultural events.

HE Sheikh Sabah praised the deep and strong Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations in various fields, and added that the success of Al-Arabi Magazine has been achieved only through the contributions of Arab and Egyptian intellectuals, rendering the Magazine a beacon for Arab culture, referring to the role of the BA as a cultural landmark.

Dr. Serageldin referred to the deterioration in Arab relations and maintained that the idea of regional cooperation appeared in 1945, and until now a joint Arab market has not been achieved. Dr. Serageldin called for empowering Arab youth to create their own Arab cultural production.
