“A Trip to the Moon” a Lecture at the BA

The BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) is organizing a lecture entitled "A Trip to the Moon" on Thursday, 7 August 2008.
The Lecture will discuss a discovery trip to the moon, the nearest neighbors to the earth in space, and scientists efforts in reaching the moon.
The Lecture will also touch upon the scientific achievements made by Egyptian astronomer Osama El Baz, through his work in the American Astronomy Program, as well as the Islamic Lunar calendar and sighting of Islamic months.
The Lecture will start at14:00 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Multipurpose Hall.
