Prehistory in the Arab World and Africa- Second Cycle

It is our pleasure to announce that The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Writing and Scripts Center is intending to organize "The Sixth International Forum of Writings and Inscriptions" entitled “Prehistory in the Arab World and Africa- Second Cycle”, which will be held on 2-5 March 2015.

The Forum aims at providing and gathering a platform for the prominent scholars working on the Prehistoric Culture, Rock Art and Archeology of the Arab World and Africa.  Within this framework, in addition to the main announced themes, it will cover the studies related to these topics according to a certain axis.

A series of specialized lectures will be delivered by a group of specialists. Thus, such forum allows the possibility of exchanging experiences and information on both the regional and global levels.
      

The Writing and Scripts Center will share the results of the latest prehistoric archeological expeditions carried out in the Arab and African Countries and discuss the problems on the prehistoric studies in this region.
On this occasion, You are cordially invited to participate in the conference, which will shed light on the African continent and its importance in the prehistoric studies.
