Science Olympiad 2014

On 3 June 2014, the closing ceremony for the Science Olympiad was held, this competition is organized by the Planetarium Science Center for the fifth year concussively. The competition consists of two parts; the first includes various visits to different faculties like the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty if Science, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Arts and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime.

While the second part includes a two-days competition to measure what the students have learned during these visits through a system designed specifically for this competition. 11 preparatory schools have participated in the Olympiad, they are:

- Omar Abdel Aziz Shoaib Preparatory School
- Elraml preparatory School For Girls
- Elraml Preparatory School For Boys
- Ali Ebn Abi Taleb School For Girls
- Victory College
- Baraaem Tiba Language School
- Okba Ebn Nafea School
- Zizinia Preparatory School
- Kawmeya School
- Sami Elbarody Preparatory School
- ALmounir Experimental School

The winners of the competition are Victory College in the first place, Amr Abdel Aziz shoaib in the second place, and Baraem Tiba Language School in the third place.
