Two of the main themes of the BA that the PSC focuses upon are: Incubator for Children's Talents, and , Promoter of Science and Technology. As part of the PSC strategy, the Center emphasizes on consistency to establish strong roots in the mentality of children that visit the Center and foster the value of science-related activities in them.
The ALEXploratorium Summer Festival is an annual three-month long festivity that the PSC organizes for children, 6 to 16 years of age, during the summer time. The festival comprises tours of all three components of the PSC, participation in all PSC ongoing activities; such as the Planetarium shows, the History of Science Museum contests, SEED corner, RoboAlex center, and "Listen & Discover" films; in addition to a variety of workshops and lectures. Participation in the Festival is by reservation only; reservation will be closed upon completing the maximum number of participants.
