ITALY: THE BEAUTY OF KNOWLEDGE is the opportunity for an experience full of suggestions and emotions but also to know the excellences present and emerging on the Italian territory in science and technology.
ITALY: THE BEAUTY OF KNOWLEDGE is an installation promoted and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Italian International Cooperation made with the direct contribution of the National Council Research (hereinafter referred to as CNR) and four Italian scientific museums of international importance:
Foundation Idis-Città della Scienza of Naples; Galileo Museum from Florence; Trento Science Museum; National Museum of Science and Technology of Milan.
The general theme is the relationship between scientific research, innovation and quality of life, especially in reference to the Italian lifestyle.
The theme is declined with reference to the following macrothemes:
• environment;
• food
• health
• culture and cultural heritage
• space
Visitors can thus discover the contribution of the Italian research and innovation system to the national and international definition of new possibility of well-being and social, scientific and cultural awareness for all citizens and the various society components.
The background in which all the themes are framed is constituted from elements able to represent typical aspects of the "Italian style Living".
The mother tongue is Italian to promote the national idiom and translation is provided in the language of the hosting country (English, Arabic).
