Under the auspices of his excellency the prime minister, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) will host the globally successful “1001 Inventions” exhibition and accompanying activities in Egypt during the period 20 October till 15 December 2015. This is in collaboration with the 1001 Inventions Organization and the Ministry of Scientific Research’s Academy of Scientific Research and Technology .
“1001 Inventions” highlights over one thousand years of scientific and cultural achievements made by men and women during the Golden Age of Muslim Civilization and the impact they have on our world today.

• Hands-on workshops and interactive activities
• Narrative plays and storytelling sessions about amazing historical figures
• Lectures and discussions with scientists and renowned figures
