Science fiction movies were not about science at all, but mere fiction. However, during the past few years, things have changed and an eminent film director like Christopher Nolan consulted specialized scientists to apply correct scientific theories in his great movie Interstellar. The movie displayed the theory of relativity on the big screen. During this month’s Astronomy night, we will be introduced to the most important scientific ideas discussed in the movie; for example, dimensions, space time, black holes, worm tunnels, and gravity.
