Hypatia, the Greek philosopher, who lived in ancient Alexandria, amazed the historians and authors by her studies. She was an icon of beauty, culture and chastity; she was the gate to enlighten Alexandria.
Unfortunately, we were not able to get much of her studies, where she was brutally murdered by some fanatics who opposed her liberal views.
