During the period between the 8th and 15th century, which is called the golden age of Islamic civilization, the Arabs’ contributions to the human civilization are endless in different scientific fields, especially Astronomy. We can say that what has been achieved is the product of the Arab-Islamic thoughts and as a result of the development, transfer and translation of Arab thoughts and the previous science from former civilizations in addition to the above mentioned innovations and inventions.
Program:
1) Lecture by Dr. Mohamed Soliman; Head, Manuscripts Museum.
2) Contest.
3) Planetarium Show.
4) Observing session at the BA plaza "if available".
