During the third and last month of Spring, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will glow in the sky and can be observed through out the month by the naked eye or through the telescope. During June, we will witness the longest daylight and the shortest night where the sky is clear with a lower rate of humidity before the beginning of Summer on the 21st of June. June nights are usually clear, suitable for astronomical observation and enjoing the scenary. As we mentioned in May, we only need to find a dark place away from the light pollution to see those planets.
Venus captures the eye and is located in the west along with Mars with its regular reddish color, Jupiter is the brightest these days, it is placed in the center of the sky nowadays, while Saturn became crystal clear amusing the observers every night. We will-as usual-shed light on the most important, though few, astronomical phenomena and events that can be obsereved through the sky of Alexandria.
Saturday Night, 3 June 2017
Venus will reach its West great expedition which means that it will reach its maximum height during night specifically before sun rise then its begins to prolapse night after night, its maximum height during this night will be 45.9 degrees. Amateurs can observe Venus clearly if the sky cloud free and if they wake up in the last part of the night and chose a suitable place for observation and photo shooting. It can be observed by the naked eye or by a small telescope. Venus will appear like this. The image, as determined by the famous stellarium program. It is known that Venus is never complete, neither Mercury because they are located between Earth and Sun.
Thursday Night, 15 June 2017
During this night, Saturn will be at its closest distance to Earth, and as it is known about Saturn, it is planets jewel when observed through the telescopes with its famous bright colored rings. Saturn will be the brightest during this night. It will be crystal clear to the public with the naked eye or through the telescope, and it will a good chance for amateurs astronomy photographers.
