Abstract:
This report discusses the current status of domestic biogas in China, where the National Loan Subsidy Program (NLSP) is responsible for nearly half of the funding for the National Biogas Programme (NBP). Various case studies confirmed the positive impact of the biogas programme not only in terms of cooking and lighting but also on environment, sanitation, ecology and agricultural level.
