Abstract:
This keynote speech marked the beginning of the conference “Globalisation and development” held on 26 September 2008. In his speech, René Grotenhuis declared his disappointment concerning the SER-publication. Grotenhuis takes three fields of interest to explain this disappointment: 1) income inequality, 2) investment strenght of developing countries, 3) social and ecological costs.
