Would it be
better to look at England only during the 20th century? The
number 1 in the graph above is the date 1830, and 100 is 1930 as 200 years
is 2030. This rocketing curve is not far off a logistic curve or the
equation: Population = a + bx + cx2 + dx3.
The technology including food supplies is rocketing when the population is on the X axis and the GNG on the Y axis. Malthus was wrong. Although the population is rocketing, food production also is, yet the huge error of stating that food production can only increasing arithmetically was taught to you. Me too! |
