Case Study: I like to give students real situations, and then challenge them to think broadly and frame the problem. I think of my students as people who will have to face these open ended situations and respond. SO I like to give them an open ended problem Your CDs have the case study, notes for instructors, and relevant documents.

You could break students into a couple groups, then have them present their considerations and solutions to each other, followed by the PowerPoint lecture on what actually happened. I think that it’s important to provide students with what actually happened. There’s material on the CD that would allow you to a PowerPoint lecture, you could show them my narrated version, or send them out to the internet to view the PowerPoint as an out of class exercise. The case study also provides the background documents referenced in the PowerPoint.

This material could be a 2 or 3 hour class.

I also have an archive which includes documents, video and audio interviews, and other background materials, This will be placed in university archives and be available for scholars wishing to go deeper into the material.
