Trait anger, as assessed by the Spielberger Trait Anger Scale, is a relatively stable personality attribute that is manifested in the frequency, intensity, and duration of the anger experience. Persons with high, compared to low, trait anger are prone to experience mild irritation, rage, and fury more often, more intensely and with longer episodes.
