The peak onset of MS occurs in the late 30s. It has been suggested that
pubertal and sex hormone factors play a role. If the hit occurs at
puberty, what does the age at onset curve tell us?
It may be that the "hit" does occur at puberty (-12 years), but the latency of disease is 20 years before symptoms appear. |
