In the Data Analysis and Report Writing Workshop facilitators present
theoretical concepts which are then applied in analysing the data.
Both qualitative and quantitative concepts are dealt with, depending
on the nature of the teams' projects. The
Epi-Info*
software is used to effectively conduct data analysis.
Results are written up, and recommendations developed
from them. At the end of the workshop, teams present
the project reports to managers, decision-makers and
policy makers. The teams then follow-up implementation
of recommendations to ensure that study results are
transformed into an improved health service.
