intracranial tension.Because of its peripheral vasodilating action, intravenouse alcohol
may facilate the induction of hypothermia.Alcohol may protect aginst arrhythmias
encountered at low body temperatures.IV alcohol can be most beneficial in the anesthetic
amnagement of the alcoholic patient in whom pre- or postoperative alcohol deprivation may
precipitate acute withdrawal symptoms.The successful use of IVA treatmnet of barbiturate
