Though, not addressed in this presentation, we do know that seeking shelter under overpasses is to be discouraged. Two persons who had taken shelter under overpasses died. The overpass acts as a wind tunnel and intensifies the wind speed. Additionally, the risk of death was higher among persons who were outdoors compared to persons inside houses.
