(Dr. Vinicor) Talking Points: NDEP has 5 major components: Awareness Campaign, Special Populations, Community Interventions, Health Care System, and at the core of the program, we have our Partnership Network. We’ve invited 4 key members of that network to share with you the work they have done to help the NDEP develop campaigns and activities to reach the racial and ethnic populations at highest risk for diabetes and its complications. They have played an important role in shaping the program and ensuring that these special populations are addressed. |
