Concept of type 2 diabetes however, changing…It
became a part of metabolic syndrome now…Insulin
resistance is basic abnormality of this disease, type 2 diabetes is in many
occasion, a part of the syndrome. It is not a disease of glucose…but
one manifestation of disease, metabolic syndrome. What is it? My
understanding is that there is basic abnormality of insulin resistance, and
insulin act to compensate this abnormality, and metabolic syndrome is
resulting phenotype. Then question become what this basic abnormality is?
