Information is only the means to an end, it is one part of the Management process……..history, patient pressure, politics, money.

Facts are objective, the same facts would be available and collectable by anyone but facts need to be sifted, weighed and interpreted as information.

Facts are given a spin when they are converted into information-they are selected, some are emphasized, the information can easily be manipulated to support a particular interpretation.

Information can be so twisted and distorted that it becomes propaganda.

Facts are sacred………opinion is free……..information comes somewhere in between for we all have conscious or unconscious bias in the way we see the world and how we make sense of the evidence.
