The book focuses on the biography of the Arabic calligrapher Sayed Ibrahim and the main phases of his life, in addition to a complete catalogue for his masterpieces. The book refers also to his work in the Faculty of Dar Al- Oloum, the American University Cairo and in Arabian Manuscripts Institute.
Sayed Ibrahim is considered the pioneer of the Arabic calligraphy and one of the most important calligraphers of the Egyptian school after the generation of Mohamed Mo’anez Zeda and his students. The book consists of 6 chapters dealing with the life of Sayed Ibrahim, his effect, his friends, the works and masterpieces.
