The Calligraphy Center is organizing on the 8th  of September  in the Small Theater-Conference Hall a closing ceremony of the Hieroglyphic and Arabic Script’s Summer Courses.

The Center is organizing “Combined Training Courses” in the Ancient Egyptian Language, Greek Language, Coptic, and Arabic Script as well as a course for developing the skills of the tour guide. These courses come from the conviction of Bibliotheca Alexandrina of the importance of the scientific and educational role of the courses organized by the Center. 

 The Calligraphy Center is organizing a lecture entitled “Developing Tourist Guide’s Skills”.

The Calligraphy Center organizes the Fifth course to teach Arabic calligraphy for adults, which aims to improve their scripts. The main idea of the course is to know the main principles of the Arabic Calligraphy and focusing basically on the Neskh and Rek’aa script.

The Calligraphy and Writing Center held a lecture about “The Historical Importance of the Inscriptions of Coptic Icons”, given by Dr. Youhnna Nesim; the researcher in the Archaeological and Classical Studies section, Melbourne university.
