The Center is organizing and Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition titled “Letters of Light” from 2- 5 June 2014, mentioned Ahmed Mansour , Deputy Manager of the Center, who will give several lectures about the development of writings in Egypt throughout its history and focusing on the importance of writing for documenting the history.

BA-The Center organizes a lecture for commemorating the Late Professor Abdulmoneim Abdulhalim Sayed, Pioneer of Red Sea Studies”  on 1st June 2014 at 12.00 at the Auditorium Hall, Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Among the series of lectures of the cultural season- April 2014, the Center organizes a lecture entitled “Recent Discoveries at Abousir” on 30 April 2014.

Among the series of lectures of the cultural season- April 2014, the center is organizing a lecture entitled “Transmissions of Culture from the Past to the Present in Egypt”  on 22 April 2014.

Within the framework of the ongoing collaboration between The Embassy of Greece and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Center is celebrating the Closing Ceremony of the Ancient Greek Language course, with the presence of his excellency the General Consul of Greece Mr. Christos Capodistrias.
