"Climate Change: Visions of African Youth" Workshop

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program organized a workshop entitled "Climate Change: Visions of African Youth", on Saturday, 11 May 2024, at 1:00 pm, in the BACC Lecture Hall. The event witnessed the participation of nearly 150 African students representing different countries including Sudan, South Sudan, and Egypt, who are part of the "African Youth for Development" program, which aims to build the scientific and knowledge capacities of African young people.
The workshop discussed the repercussions of climate change and its effects on the African continent, as participants had stressed the importance of raising awareness of climate change and focusing on scientific research related to this field.
