Man was able to build and use boats before he could write or raise crops. Hence, building and sailing boats and ships were among the earliest skills practiced and mastered by hum kind. The Greeks were among the greatest maritime nations in antiquity, as they were able to build and sail different types and of boats and ships since at least ten thousand years ago. Moreover, they are known for building some of the most famous types of merchant and war ships that roamed the Mediterranean in antiquity. Hence, this lecture will shed light on Greek boats and ships from the earliest times until the Roman Era.

First Lego League 2022

If your son / daughter is 6-16 years old and has a passion for robots and its implementation mechanism, you can now register for it in the First Lego League (FLL) competition. The idea of the competition is based on presenting real problems facing our world for the young participants, for the competition teams to find solutions to them by conducting scientific research on the topic of the competition, designing and programming a moving model of robots and displaying the results of the research through a display board designed by the team.
