Graduated in 2010, Ahmed obtained a diploma in Meat and Fish Processing in 2015 from the Faculty of Agriculture, Al Azhar University. He obtained a diploma in microbiology from the Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University in 2017, a diploma in biochemistry from the Faculty of Post Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Beni-Suef University in 2019, and a diploma in International Negotiations from the Faculty of Economy and Political Studies, Cairo University, in 2020. In addition, he completed a course on Heritage Editing at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. Ahmed worked as an agricultural engineer and teacher, and he is interested in writing scientific articles and opinion pieces. He founded «العلم في صورة» (Science in a Picture) Facebook page to simplify sciences and communicating them in an exciting manner.

Nerd, gamer, foodie, and code Ninja, Ahmed Ghoneim is a Computer Engineer who enjoys nothing more than coding and developing fun-to-use applications. Aside from that, he is super interested in science. His passion for science started at a very early age, ever since he spent hours on endless open Wikipedia tabs reading about everything until he became somewhat of a science addict!

Ahmed is a graduate of the University of Science and Technology in Zewail City, with a major in biomedical science and molecular cell biology. He is passionate for biological systems, especially on the molecular level. As an undergraduate, Ahmed co-authored a microbiology research paper published in a renowned academic journal. He is interested in writing and translation; he also cherishes writing for SCIplanet to fulfil his passion for both science and writing.

Ahmed graduated from the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, in 2014, with a major in Molecular Biology and Chemistry. Passionate about the sciences, particularly biology, he volunteers as a science communication writer and content developer. He is the founder and content developer of «معلومة 101» (Knowledge 101) Facebook page, and a volunteer in the Egypt Scientists Association. Ahmed’s hobbies are reading, following science news, as well as watching and playing football.
