Abstract:
The aim of “Right to Food and Nutrition Watch”, a new publication, is to establish an international periodical review that monitors states’ actions or omissions related to the realization of the right to food. It contains articles written by experts related to the implementation of the right to adequate food. It also contains summaries of national and regional reports. Additionally, each issue includes a CD with the full content of the reports and additional information. The first issue contains articles pertaining to biofuels, development policies, the African Network for the Promotion of the Right to Food, the role of the FAO, the effects of liberalization on food rights, infant feeding, and the impact of the world food crisis.
