Abstract:
This report is a summary of the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) report on the Kinondoni project of the Tanzania Country Programme in 2008. The evaluation for Kinondoni ICT services took place between June and November 2007, while the Focus Group with users took place in February of 2008. The project “District computerization Kinondoni” is to bring about good governance in the Kinondoni District (Dar es Salaam), a municipality with about 1,000,000 inhabitants, by harnessing information for decision-making through the use of ICT's. The project has been in implementation since 2001 and has been using the IICD system for Monitoring and Evaluation since 2003.
