Abstract:
The IICD supported Ghana Information Network for Knowledge Sharing (GINKS) was established to provide space for individuals, groups and institutions interested in using information and communication technology (ICT) for their businesses and development to share ideas, knowledge and skills for the promotion of their mutual and collective interests. The Learning Report 2006 discusses the specific objectives of GINKS, and then covers the methodology and outcome of an evaluation exercise performed to find out how members perceived the operational efficiency, effectiveness and impact of the network. The report then covers the effectiveness and impact of the network as well as major challenges and ways to enhance the network.
