Abstract:
In 2007, PSO conducted research into the use of the PSO Quality Fund for quality improvement by its member organizations and the results thereof for capacity building in the South. It was found that quality was defined differently according to the situation. Instead of attempting to draw firm conclusions it was deemed more productive to develop 12 so-called Quality Fund Cards. The cards are only available in Dutch and are recommended for use in the following situations: (1) to exchange views and develop a vision on quality improvement, for example when preparing a request for subsidy from the PSO Quality Fund; (2) as a supporting tool to design activities which help to improve the internal quality of your organization; (3) to facilitate discussions on internal quality improvement in a new approach; and (4) to facilitate discussions in projects focusing on quality improvement, such as developing a monitoring system.
