Abstract:
The Isaan Bright Child Programme is a creative and participatory programme that is transforming the nature of preschool, kindergarten and early primary education in Thailand. The programme promotes
an entirely new approach to teaching and learning, which allows preschool teachers to help young children to develop critical thinking skills. The programme focuses on teachers and schools in the Northeast (Isaan) and the North of Thailand, two of the least developed regions in the country.
