Abstract:
The author joined the Christian Children’s Fund Honduras (CCFH) Effectiveness Initiative (EI) team, in the study of the Madres Guías
(Guide Mothers) project in the community of La Huerta, Honduras. She is one of the outsiders in the team, whose principle job is to help make visible important aspects of what is happening that insiders may not see and take into account because they are too close to the work. This article presents the author’s views on some of the project’s achievements.
