Abstract:
Analysis of the Dutch international development sector shows that it requires better central co-ordination to become more effective. Considering the importance of the contribution of the Netherlands to international development efforts, new organizational solutions are needed to ensure a more effective utilization of the massive financial means available. The Development Policy Review Network (DPRN) is a network of development experts and policymakers in the Netherlands that could initiate the necessary process of change. Unfortunately it is not in a position to guide this process to a successful conclusion.
