Abstract:
From 2003 onwards PSO – a Dutch capacity-strengthening partnership - facilitates a learning trajectory on programmatic approaches as an alternative to the classical project approach. In December 2006, a workshop was organized for members of PSO and their partners in developing countries to discuss the modalities for applying the programmatic approach. Constraints encountered while implementing action plans were identified, and key points to the successful application of the programmatic approach were suggested.
