Abstract:
Gender-based violence has a huge impact on the dignity, autonomy and sexual and reproductive health of women, affecting all aspects of their lives and development. Therefore, women need the full support of society to heal and be empowered, based on the principles of universal human rights. This article discusses an innovative approach of involving men in ending the circle of violence, piloted in Indonesia and South Africa.
