Abstract:
This paper describes the key results and lessons learned of the PSO funded project: Towards a workable Approach to Mainstream Gender in Natural Resources Management. In this one and a half year project (2010-2011) Both ENDS and partner organisations AMICHOCĂ“ in Colombia, ANCE in Togo and BARCIK in Bangladesh jointly set out to test a practical approach to mainstream gender in their work on natural resources management, each in its specific context and based on its specific ambition. The tailored step-by-step approach allows for an in-depth analysis of the gender relations in the focus area, close cooperation with gender experts and women's organisations, and for learning-by-doing.
