Each year, the five TWAS Regional Partners each select up to five scientists under the age of 40 years to be 'TWAS Young Affiliates' for a period of five years.
TWAS-AREP is pleased to annouce the Arab Regional Award and Young Arab Scientist (YAS) Prize winners in addition to the TWAS Arab Young affiliates for 2019.
Since 2017, TWAS Young affiliates Network (TYAN) organize specific thematic workshops. It has a mandate to improve research capacity skills of young researchers in developing countries.
