Nobel Laureates Lecture

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) through Academic Research Sector, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), is organizing a lecture entitled Nobel Laureates that will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 12:00 PM (Cairo Time), at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conference Center- Lecture Hall.

The lecture will be presented by the author of the book, Prof. Dr. Sherif Kandil, Professor Emeritus at the Department of Materials Sciences, Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, Alexandria University, and moderated by H.E. Prof. Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, former Minister of Education.

The lecture will shed light on the inspiring personal, professional and human dimensions that many may not know about a number of Nobel Prize-winning scientists, as well as the reasons for the author's selection of these figures.

In this context, the lecture will address the author's analysis of the commonalities between these characters, as well as an analysis of the incentives that provided them with a motive for creativity, giving and excellence.
