Expert Review Workshop on the “Water For a Growing Planet” report July 29th 2008

The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) organized the Expert Review Workshop on the “Water For a Growing Planet” report.

An International committee of eight Experts in the water field attended the workshop.

Dr. Serageldin; chairman of the workshop; made a presentation on “Avoiding water wars” to the meeting members, in which he manifested the critical global water status.

Dr. Serageldin and the Expert committee discussed several points on the water use, the critical Food-Feed Fuel situation, the impact of agriculture and climate change.

They exchanged ideas and thoughts on what should be done to avoid future crisis by pulling out concrete actions in different fields and maintaining sustainability.

The “Water For a Growing Planet” report is then finalized according to the Experts advise and sent for action.
