This exhibition comprises a selection of artworks by the pioneers of Caricature in Egypt. Caricature is one of the most influential arts that has a direct impact on society. It relies on sarcasm and humor in expressing all subject matters, including those with a deep and serious content, and plays a vital role in raising the awareness of the recipient seamlessly and without difficulty.
The artworks displayed in this exhibition are 50 original caricature panels by 24 artists, donated by the Egyptian Caricature Association to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
