The BA Art Exhibitions and Collections Department organizes “Nagy Shaker: The Passion of Experimentation and Discovery” exhibition on Thursday, 2 January 2020, at 5:00 pm, in the BACC West Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition honors Nagy Shaker’s creative journey that reflects a sense of amateurism and adventure in the process of experimentation and discovery.
The exhibition features a collection of Shaker’s works of art when he was a secondary school student and when he joined the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1952. It also includes several works that he produced for different puppet shows in Egypt, together with a display of his 2015 “light exhibition”, which is considered a continuation of his research into light and theater.
“Nagy Shaker: The Passion of Experimentation and Discovery” exhibition continues until Tuesday, 21 January 2020, daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, except Fridays and Saturdays; from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
