The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, organizes a seminar entitled “Plastic Waste in the Mediterranean: Challenges and Opportunities” on Sunday, 2 October 2022, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.
The seminar aims to highlight the importance of raising awareness about the risks of plastic pollution and its effect on marine life and biodiversity. It is worth noting that plastic pollution has significantly penetrated the aquatic ecosystems, and it is expected that this pollution will double by the year 2030, which will undoubtedly lead to serious consequences on human health, biodiversity, the global economy, and the climate.
The seminar is open for public. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis
