Remarkable BA Participation at Cairo International Book Fair 2020

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina takes part in the 51st edition of Cairo International Book Fair, with several publications that are available in display and sales pavilions. The Fair runs from 22 January to 4 February 2020, at Egypt International Exhibition Center.

The BA displays its latest publications such as Infantry Firearms: Creativity and Development, from the Mamluk Period to the Era of Muhammad Ali Pasha, by Dr. Al-Moustafa Mohamed Al-Kharat, and The Future of the Egyptian Role between Regionalism and Arabism, which includes a collection of articles written by a remarkable group of political science professors and diplomats, who are also members of the Advisory Board of the BA Center for Strategic Studies.

Other publications featured at the BA pavilion of the Cairo Book Fair are The Treasures of Manuscripts at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; Modern Egyptian Art; The Environment, Climate Change, and International Relations; Meditations on Diplomacy: Comparative Cases in Diplomatic Practice and Foreign Policy, which is written by Stephen Chan, and translated by Sherine Gaber and Sherihan Saad.

The BA contributes to the Fair with Marased and Awrak series, as well as the Memory of Egypt, and the Memory of Arabs magazines. Abgadiyat, an annual international scientific peer-reviewed periodical published by the BA Writing and Scripts Center, and the Coptic Notebooks series are also part of the BA collection displayed in its pavilion at the Fair.
