The BA Receives a Spanish Media Delegation Specialized in Naguib Mahfouz's Literature

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has received the tourism advisor Hamdy Zaki, accompanied by a media delegation consisting of 36 Spanish journalists specialized in the literature of Naguib Mahfouz. They were greeted by Ms. Yasmine Kelada, Head of the BA Visits Department.
At the beginning of the visit, the delegation presented the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with a gift that includes a collection of nearly 40 books in Spanish about Egypt and Spain in the fields of culture, literature, science, and geography.
The delegation toured the Library to learn about its various sections. The tour was followed by a lecture delivered by Mr. Hamdy Zaki, entitled "The Literature of Naguib Mahfouz and its Relations with Spain and Mexico", during which he presented footage from Egyptian and Mexican cinematic works based on the novels of the Nobel laureate.
