Registration Closes for the BA Grand Reading Prize 2024

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced that it has closed the registration phase for the first round of its Grand Reading Prize on 15 September. It also announced the start of the preparation phase for the competition, which will continue until 15 November. During this phase, contestants will attempt to read up on the topic of the competition to prepare themselves for the four stages of the tests. The reading topic for the first round of this competition revolves around "Egypt in the Nineteenth Century."
Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, announced at the opening of the Library’s International Book Fair that the BA will organize a major annual reading competition for all Egyptians across the country, targeting young people of both sexes aged 18-40.
Registration for the second round will open on 15 July 2025.
