The activities of the first round of the training program "STARS" for youth development have concluded, which were held as part of a cooperation between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Hayah Karima Foundation, under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work. This round, which took place in Alexandria, from 22 – 25 September 2024 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, witnessed the participation of 50 students from Alexandria University.
The second edition is scheduled to be held at Alexandria University, followed by the governorates of Beheira, Gharbia, and Sohag respectively.
The STARS program is the product of a joint cooperation between the two institutions as part of the "Agile" initiative to develop the capacities and skills of young people. It was launched last August to mark the International Youth Day of 2024. The program aims to build the capacities of a conscious youth who possess the ability to generate new and innovative ideas to achieve positive societal change that is in line with the demands of the times.
The first edition included a series of lectures and workshops aimed at educating young people and developing their skills.
