Panel Discussion: GIS and Local Actions in Advancing Urban Sustainability

On the occasion of the Geographical Awareness Week, the BA Map Services Unit is organizing a panel discussion and presentations entitled "GIS and Local Actions in Advancing Urban Sustainability", on Wednesday, 11 December 2024, at 11:00 am, in the BACC Small Theater.
The event will witness the participation of a group of professors and experts in the geographic information systems field.
On the sidelines of the event, a number of GIS workshops were held, which targeted students to train them on the latest modern technologies used in this field.
The event will also be accompanied by a display of books, maps, and atlases from the BA collection, which highlight the uses and applications of geographic information systems.
